Codex x SocialTag campaign
01

The Brief

Introduce Codex, demonstrate what it can actually do, and make AI-assisted coding feel tangible and relevant to audiences beyond traditional developer communities.

02

Success Looked Like

  • Codex appearing naturally in creator-led content
  • Audiences seeing real-world applications rather than feature lists
  • Codex becoming part of conversations around building, freelancing and productivity
  • Content driving curiosity, engagement and intent to try the product
03

The SocialTag Playbook

AI coding tools are easy to explain. They're much harder to make people care about.

So instead of treating Codex like another product that needed to be demonstrated, we built a creator-led campaign around situations people already understood: building products, getting work done, freelancing, dating, entrepreneurship and the everyday chaos of being a modern creator.

Across YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn, we gave creators the freedom to tell the story in their own language while keeping Codex at the centre of the narrative.

Long-form YouTube content created depth. Instagram turned the product into snackable, relatable moments. LinkedIn brought the conversation into professional and founder communities.

The result was a campaign that didn't feel like nine advertisements for Codex. It felt like nine different reasons to be curious about it.

Why It Worked

People don't want another AI tool.

They want to know what they can do with it.

By putting Codex into stories people already cared about, from building and freelancing to everyday work, we made the product feel less like technology to learn and more like a capability to unlock.

Great products deserve stories people want to share.
